Andre’ L. Carr is the current PTSA President in his second term. He is married to Shiquita Carr (Art teacher at Elliot Primary School), they have two beautiful children: Anna (S2 student at Berkeley) & Asa M2 student at Dellwood Middle School).
Mr. Carr is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Carr is currently the P&G sales manager at BGA.
As a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Andre has mentored many young men & women. He believes that to make a difference in the lives of others, you must be willing to commit your time, energy, and resources.
In his free time, he enjoys sports, being social and hospitable. He loves BBQing and supporting his favorite football team (the other football) The Chicago Bears.
Our focus for the PTSA is to build relationships within the PTSA through parent workshops, increased parental involvement in school, student leadership activities and increase our PTSA student scholarships.
