Get your tickets for The Berkeley Institute Winter Concert 2023. It will be held of Wednesday, December 13 in The Berkeley Institute Cafetorium. The show begins at 6:00 p.m. The concert will showcase students in The Berkeley Institute Performing Arts classes, Music, Drama, and Dance.

Tickets are $10 and available from The Berkeley Institute School Office.

The Berkeley Institute Annual Charity Walk

 Our Annual Charity Walk will take place on, Friday December 15, 2023.  The walk will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. It is our goal to give back to our community and assist those in need. We encourage students to participate and raise funds for charity.  The advisory group with the most funds raised will receive a pizza party.  The student who raises the most funds will receive a special prize.

The routes are as follows:

• Eastern Route -  Leave parking lot across from the Aquarium, walk up Flatts Hill, and proceed to trail through Jennings Land.  Continue along to Palmetto Road onto North Shore and over hill to Berkeley.
• Western Route – Leave Warwick Post Office, head up Khyber Pass onto trail, exit trail near Trimingham Hill and walk along East Broadway onto Front Street, Bermudiana Road, Par-la-Ville Road to Berkeley.

 Each student will receive a pledge sheet worth $20 to complete and return to school by Friday, December 15, 2023.

Come out to support The Berkeley Girls Football team for the KO Cup Final, against Warwick Academy, Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, at the National Sports Center’s North Field at 6:00pm. Please come out and support our girls as they seek to retain their title!

Head over to Bermuda College TONIGHT for the Bermuda School Sports Federation All Star Netball Tournament! A few of the young ladies from The Berkeley Institute have been selected to participate. Games start at 6pm for the Primary School teams. Senior School Games start at 8pm.

As we continue the SLP journey, students must select their respective learning tracks based on their career interests. The learning tracks for each signature include:

• Banking in Financial Services
• Business Administration and Management
• Financial Technology (FinTech)

Once students have confirmed their learning tracks, they can proceed with the selection of their courses for next year. The presentation will also include students who have not selected a signature and are on the General Track.

Come out Tuesday, January 30, to cheer on the students on for the Annual Cross Country Races. The races begin around 1:30 p.m. Your support plays a crucial role in making this event memorable for everyone involved. Let's create an atmosphere of encouragement and enthusiasm that will motivate our runners to give their best.

Points will be awarded to runners, as we begin to tally our GREEN and GOLD house points ahead of Sports Days 2024!
 

In case of inclement weather, we will communicate any changes to the event schedule promptly.

Semester 2 classes for students will now start on Monday, February 5, 2024. This extension is intended to provide our dedicated teachers with ample time to complete various crucial tasks, including marking assessments, and finalizing grade imputations and comments for the current semester.
