Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!
We hope you all enjoyed the summer and have experienced a great start to the school year.
The PTSA plays an important role in making Berkeley a distinguished school by working hard to provide the "extras" that enrich our children's education experience. It's our participation and support that ensures a vibrant and successful school and sense of community for students, parents, families, teachers, administrators and staff.
Research indicates that when schools, families, and community groups work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school, stay in school longer, and like school more. Your PTSA is a vehicle for parental involvement at Berkeley Institute. We look forward to your participation this school year as we work to provide information and to open avenues of communication among parents, the school administration and the larger community. Be generous with your time and get involved at the school!
Our PSTA meetings will be held the first Monday of the month at 5:30 pm. We will provide more detailed information about the agenda before each meeting. Please join us! Every meeting gives you a chance to ask questions, make suggestions, meet and talk with other parents and hear important information about what is happening at Berkeley and in our community.
On behalf of the PSTA Executive Board and all the volunteers, we wish everyone a very productive year ahead and look forward to your continued support. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at kvjackson@gov.bm Please know that questions and suggestions are always welcome!
Kimberley Jackson, PTSA President
